Here are some Easter props I have been working on… perhaps to productively procrastinate from more complex systems π.

Easter Bushes
In Austria we collect branches of Pussy Willow (I love the english name for this π€£ we just call it ‘Palmkatzerl’ in Austria, literally translated to ‘Palm Kitty’) and other spring bushes, and put them in a vase to place on the dinner table and decorate it with coloured eggs and other easter themed decorations like flowers, little toy baby chicks etc.
Originally it was to symbolise the return of spring… but it also just looks really nice. π
Here are three variations from me.

Bunting and Tablecloth
We got some fun easter buntings going on to decorate our lil ingame house.

Blenders ‘Array’ and ‘Curve’ modifiers can be real timer savers for this kind of work. Although you could probably do something really nifty with Geometry Nodes as well.
And we got a new tablecloth with a easter theme. It’s rare that I like something I made, but I think this turned out rather cute actually π.

(Psst, little fun fact, I actually drew this with a mouse during a coffee date video call π).
Easter Eggs
Of course we need easter eggs for easter!

For anyone wondering about the brown eggs with the quite blobby designs – when I was younger we used to collect flowers and leafs in the garden, press them against the eggs, and then boil them in a pot with onion skins to colour them.
This results in quite lovely and unique easter eggs, which are a lot of fun to make (if you don’t mind the onion smell while boiling π).
That’s it for today, have a lovely easter weekend all! ππ£π
(even though it is one hour shorter than it should be, stupid summer time ππ)
