What a busy, busy week! I added so many more quests, conversations, and small features for a smoother experience—all in preparation for my first playtest on the weekend! 😁
More Quests!
We have now 10 quests implemented in the game! While that doesn’t sound like much, they are all just to introduce you to the core features of the game.
Some of the new ones are to introduce the player to collecting wood, gathering stones, and meeting your new neighbors.
More Conversations!
Some new, exciting conversations have been introduced, allowing you to talk to nearly everyone in town and get their introductions – I really tried to convey their personality in these, good and bad 😉.
Many of these dialogues even have player choices that the NPCs react to!



First Playtest
I also had my first internal playtest, and it racked up to 1h 20min of playtime and 35 items of feedback to address this week! It was super helpful and insightful, and I am already hard at work working through the list 😁.
One of the things that came out of it was having some kind of indication of how much resources you have gathered, as it wasn’t easy to see without opening your inventory constantly.
So we have a neat little UI indicator now that pops up upon picking up a new item, showing how much you picked up and the total in the inventory.

So I better get right back to work and make the game better and better and add some new cool things I hopefully can share soon ☺️.
